 Frequently lauded as one of the world’s greatest and most influential directors, DAVID CRONENBERG has created works of cinematic art that have consistently earned him international critical accolades. His uniquely personal and deeply riveting body of work includes such films as Shivers, Videodrome, The Fly, Dead Ringers, NakedLunch, Crash, A History of Violence, Eastern Promises,A Dangerous Method, Cosmopolis, and Maps to the Stars. He is an Officer in France’s Order of Arts and Letters and an Officer in the Order of Canada. In 1999, he was president of the jury at the Cannes Film Festival.
